Kim Andrews began volunteering in July 2017 as an illustrator and extra pair of hands. In May 2009 she and her husband Ricky Andrews (now deceased) began fostering newborns year round and to date has raised more than 200 kittens. A production art professional, she has illustrated the Not Just for Cats cookbook and paints the Purchase a Paw dedications for the building fund as well as designing and producing custom jewelry for the shelter’s Tails at Twilight silent auctions.
