The River Cities Humane Society is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization and does not receive any city, parish, state, or federal government funding. We operate solely on contributions, fundraising events, and adoption fees. We have been providing care for abused, neglected, stray, and unwanted animals until they can be adopted into their permanent homes for 30 years. With the help of local veterinarians, we make sure that every animal that leaves our shelter is spayed or neutered, tested for feline AIDS and leukemia, and is up-to-date on core feline vaccinations.Our goals are to raise funds to continue our mission. In order to meet these goals, we are asking for sponsorships from local businesses and individuals. Your contributions will help provide support for the ONLY NO-KILL cat shelter in Northeast LA.

The need is great. River Cities Humane Society receives many calls for assistance daily and has helped over 14,000 animals. We need to expand our services and ability to serve the community. Your tax-deductible gift will help to achieve the goals of this local organization.

Our 2019 Tails at Twilight event is a Halloween costume gala and will be held on October 26th, from 7pm-11pm, at The Hub in downtown Monroe. Please join us for an evening of dinner, drinks, music, and dancing as we celebrate in reaching our goals.
